Rebel Fishing Lures: An American Fishing Tradition

Founded in Fort Smith Arkansas in 1961 by George Perrin, the plastic mold injection company began making a small, minnow like plastic lure that would mimic the action of a fish in the water in 1963. By using a walk the dog or other topwater retrieval method along the top of vegetation lines and cover, the large bass will literally run to the surface after the jumping minnow.
